I add these tabs to my 18 -year old cat's high quality canned food. He eats as if he doesn't realize any supplement has been added, so it is very easy to administer (1-2 crushed tabs daily is recommended). Kidney issues are so prevalent in older cats that it is probably a good idea to add these supplements for kidney support to any 15+ year old cat's diet.
